The most useful moment in the profession is when we say no: when the repair exceeds the value of the device, we say so and do not proceed. It costs a bill and earns someone who returns, and who sends their neighbor.
The diagnosis is free, and no repair begins until you have accepted the price. When it exceeds the value of the device, we say so rather than selling it.
Repairs are guaranteed: if the same failure recurs, we take it back. And your files remain yours — we only consult what is necessary for the repair.
